





(1) Improved cooperation between actors dealing with protection, planning and management of natural and cultural heritage through joint meetings and creative workshops;
(2) Strengthened capacity of institutions and organizations in the cross-border region of Croatia and Montenegro through organizing trainings on new methodologies in protection, planning and management of natural and cultural heritage;
(3) Jointly developed studies and guidelines for improving a legislative framework, economic valorization and more effective protection and management of natural and cultural resources in the cross-border region;
(4) Improved participation of stakeholders in pilot areas of Dubrovnik and Boka Kotorska region leading to better protection and management of cultural and natural resources;
(5) Increased level of information among citizens and visitors/tourists about the exceptional values of natural and cultural heritage in Dubrovnik and Boka Kotorska area;
(6) Improved knowledge among professionals in municipalities and counties in Croatia and Montenegro on heritage as a driver of development, through a manual created jointly by using experience gained through the project.
The aim the project “Heritage – Driver of Development” is contribution to establishing cooperation between institutions in charge of natural and cultural heritage protection through implementing joint programs, education, know-how transfer and awareness raising activities.
